Business Development Executive

Role Requirements

  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Pitching products and/or services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings for VP of BD
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events as needed
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
  • Developing quotes and proposals

BDE Responsibilities

  • Cold call (at least 125 calls per week)
  • Generate at least 20 appointments for VP of BD
  • Update CRM with prospect information
  • Update companies CRM to reflect activity/progress
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • 3 years Sales experience or Business development Experience
  • Experience with E-Commerce or Online Marketing a plus
  • Passionate about digital and new technologies
  • Passionate about selling
  • Very strong writing and creative skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Update CRM on a daily basis
  • Ability to coordinate meetings using calendar
  • Identify new leads for VP of BD
  • Report directly to the Vice President of Business Development
  • Work closely with all DSR employees
  • Opportunity to grow within the company.

Salary range $35,000 to $38,000 depending on experience. Commission and Bonus opportunities.
